Inspections passed!! 

This is such a big deal for us. We've been working so hard over the past month 

and doing everything to get ready for this day! What a relief... Time to move in, decorate, 

stock the kitchen and open the doors to all of you wonderful people! 

Looky Here! We've been able to move a few things in to give our Fire Inspector an idea of the lay-out. It's like playing with a life-size doll house! Moving things here and there, trying to find the perfect spot and the perfect look. We want all of our customers to have a wonderful experience each and every time they visit. Rather you've come to eat lunch or just shop in the boutique, but if you are coming just to shop, 

make sure you grab a scone or muffin to go.

Shout out to my girl Kaitlin (one of Kara's best friends)  who writes for the Sparkman High School newspaper. She recently wrote a story about the Tea Room and interviewed us.  Made us feel important! :) Our story will come out in their April issue. Check it out!

We've been crazy busy sanding, painting, staining, installing and cleaning... We are making sure everything is PERFECT for our Grand Opening March 2013! Recently it took a number of us installing some cabinets above our front counter. Here is just a few pics of our "togetherness". :)

Updated Kitchen Picture!

I know I sound like a broken record, but it REALLY is getting closer to opening day! :)

We've been working on the railroad kitchen! Its coming together nicely... 3 refrigerators, 5 sinks, 2 microwaves, 1 freezer and a partridge in a pear tree. I love the paint color on the cabinets! Hmm future project for honey at our house? On a serious note, it really is becoming the perfect kitchen for us. It has a really nice flow to it and awesome work spaces for preparing the tea and not to mention the yummy food. Check it out!

Chandelier Bling

On a recent work day we had to test all of our chandeliers and get them ready to be properly hung by our electrician. We love how they've turned out. They are all different in their own little way. We took a bunch of different chandeliers and painted them all the same color (hammered bronze), added some bling and had them hung sporadically around the Tea Room. Not sure how it was going to turn out, but we were simply amazed at their beauty! (Makes me just want to lay under them and gaze upward like they were stars) Puts off this wonderful ambiance, so stunning  and sophisticated with its elegance. Check out below and see what I mean.

Getting Things Done!

The past few weeks we've been working HARD at the Tea Room to get things completed... We are excited to be checking stuff off our list. The more we check off, the closer we are to opening our doors to you! :) Just thought I'd share some pictures we've been taking along the way.
