Long time no see... we're running around like chickens with our heads cut off, and LOVIN' it!! :) The Tea Room has been keeping us hopping.

 This month we will open for the first time on a SATURDAY! Mark your calendars, July 20th we'll be open from 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Bring your family! Bring your friends!! Bring your neighbors!!! We will start opening the Tea Room every 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month. It was originally going to be the 2nd and 4th Saturday, but we had some scheduling conflicts. 

Saturday, July 27th we'll be at the... 

20th Annual MCC Business Expo & Kids Day! If you've been with us for awhile then you know that we attended last year's (<-- click here) and WON Best Booth & People's Choice! It was amazing and we had so much fun meeting everyone... make sure you stop by our booth this year for some FREE tea (of course) and muffins. Hope you can make it!!

A New Look!

I figured since it has been 1 year, maybe it was time to change things up! I really like this purple, come by for lunch so you can see the beautiful purple's in the tea room. We are so glad to finally be open and meeting so many new people. We've had some Bridal Tea's, Birthday Parties and High Tea's. Come check us out, we'd love to have you! :)

Talk about one very busy month!

This month has flown by, and we couldn't be happier! We are finally open and it feels great. We've made a lot of new friends and seeing our customer's enjoy themselves puts a smile on our face. All the planning, prepping and hard work is paying off! The Grand Opening couldn't have gone any better than it did, what a mind blowing day it was... everything is so surreal! We can't say Thank You enough to all the kind people that have come in to visit us. You make our jobs easy! If you haven't had a chance yet, come check us out. We'd love to serve you some tea, a scone or two, Chicken Velvet Soup or even a Turkey Cucumber Wrap (my favorite). Here are some pictures from this month, enjoy!

We're moving right along... We finally got our internet and phone hooked up at the tea room! Our new phone number is 256-325-TEAS *Kinda cool, huh?* 

We have bistro tables set up and we're offering our customers Wi-Fi. Can't wait to sit in a quaint space, sipping some tea, possibly eating a scone or two, while playing on my Ipad.

Inspections passed!! 

This is such a big deal for us. We've been working so hard over the past month 

and doing everything to get ready for this day! What a relief... Time to move in, decorate, 

stock the kitchen and open the doors to all of you wonderful people! 

Looky Here! We've been able to move a few things in to give our Fire Inspector an idea of the lay-out. It's like playing with a life-size doll house! Moving things here and there, trying to find the perfect spot and the perfect look. We want all of our customers to have a wonderful experience each and every time they visit. Rather you've come to eat lunch or just shop in the boutique, but if you are coming just to shop, 

make sure you grab a scone or muffin to go.

Shout out to my girl Kaitlin (one of Kara's best friends)  who writes for the Sparkman High School newspaper. She recently wrote a story about the Tea Room and interviewed us.  Made us feel important! :) Our story will come out in their April issue. Check it out!

We've been crazy busy sanding, painting, staining, installing and cleaning... We are making sure everything is PERFECT for our Grand Opening March 2013! Recently it took a number of us installing some cabinets above our front counter. Here is just a few pics of our "togetherness". :)

Updated Kitchen Picture!

I know I sound like a broken record, but it REALLY is getting closer to opening day! :)

We've been working on the railroad kitchen! Its coming together nicely... 3 refrigerators, 5 sinks, 2 microwaves, 1 freezer and a partridge in a pear tree. I love the paint color on the cabinets! Hmm future project for honey at our house? On a serious note, it really is becoming the perfect kitchen for us. It has a really nice flow to it and awesome work spaces for preparing the tea and not to mention the yummy food. Check it out!
